Providing a type of heavy trucks by national carriers

Asharqia Chamber sends its warm regards and wishes to inform you that it has received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, numbered (45100832) and dated (28/2/1445 AH). The letter refers to an email from the General Authority for Transport dated (19 Safar 1445 AH), attached to a letter from Khalid Projects Company addressed to the Authority. The letter from Khalid Projects Company requests approval to import a number of foreign heavy trucks through the Salwa Port for use in one of its projects in the Kingdom. The company mentioned the unavailability of these trucks in the Kingdom, whether new or used. The Authority seeks information on the availability of this type of heavy trucks among licensed national carriers.

Therefore, the Council hopes that specialists and stakeholders can provide information regarding the availability of these trucks and respond no later than Wednesday, 5 Rabi' Al-Awwal 1445 AH.
